Listen Louder

Built to spark real-life conversations surrounding mental health; we’ve created an accessible online destination for those who need and deserve to be heard.

Our aim is to offer support, no matter your situation.

Listen Louder is here to keep the conversation about Mental Health going. Whilst we know it’s more common place to be able to share our thoughts on it, we still believe it’s yet to be normalised. Our aim is to create a space where Mental Health is considered simply ‘wellbeing’ - without any negative connotations or stigmas attached.

When our founder Megan Gilbride first shared her experiences with depression, the common denominator with the response was people wishing they had a platform to express themselves and feel less alone.

And so we’ve created The Conversation.

A place for you to submit your stories - anonymously or not, to be shared or kept private, we want you to feel heard.

It might be that you don’t feel quite ready to reach out for help. Or perhaps you don’t feel comfortable speaking to the people closest to you. Whatever the reason, we hope this platform will let you know you’re not alone in this.

JOIN THE CONVERSATION

You don’t have to be a professional writer and can submit as much or as little as you wish. This is our place and we’re all ears.

By completing a submission you agree to Listen Louder publishing your content on megangilbride.co.uk and/or associated social media sites. Occasionally we may reformat submissions to suit publication but we will never change your words. If you’d prefer to submit via email you can do so to megs@megangilbride.co.uk with terms of submission remaining the same, please include your publishing preferences. We will always contact you via email prior to sharing your story.

BRIDGE THE INTERNET GAP

Through real conversations we can convey our personalities and experiences and help others feel more connected.
